Scent & Ingredient Philosophy
How we think about what goes in — and how it should feel to live with.
Our Scent Direction
We build every scent around essential oils, because they give a grounded, clean character that suits everyday rooms — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry corners — rather than a perfume counter.
Our scent philosophy is simple: less noise, more taste. We're not trying to fill a room. We're trying to complement it. A good product scent is something you notice when you use it, and then it becomes part of the background of your space. Trusted quietly.
Every product is developed with a top, mid and base structure — not to be fancy, but because layered scent fades naturally and doesn't become cloying. The scent notes on our product pages describe the impression of the finished blend, not a list of added ingredients; each formula's complete ingredient list is published alongside it.
Ingredient Principles
We choose ingredients based on how the full formula performs, feels and fits into everyday use. We're not a 'free-from' brand that markets by listing what's absent. Instead, we focus on what's present and why.
Our surfactants are plant-derived. Our moisturizing agents are chosen for comfort. Our preservatives are effective at safe levels. We don't make medical claims. We make products you can use every day with confidence.
Every ingredient list is published on every product page. Transparency isn't a feature — it's a baseline.
Less Noise, More Taste
The home and personal-care market is loud: fear-based marketing, miracle claims, and scents that announce themselves from across the room. We understand why — loud sells fast.
We offer an alternative: products that are considered, quiet, and consistent. Products that earn their spot not through marketing, but through daily use and the trust that comes from showing up the same way every time.
That's what we mean by taste — choosing well, with intention, and sticking with it. It's a campaign line, not a personality. The heart of Ecoand is still the ordinary care underneath it.
